Do some people truly know the difference between 45% and 50%? In terms of basketball, it means that a person, who normally makes 45% his shots, can make about 45 out of every 100 shot attempts. So we can assume that a person shooting 50% from the field can make about 50 out of every 100 shot attempts. Therefore, it's safe to assume that the 50% shooter can on average make 5 more shots out of every 100 attempts than the 45% shooter. |
