Parris Island Marine Drill Instructor Tribute

This is just a short film to say thank you to the hats here on PI! I'm a proud DI wife. I see just how hard these men work.I really never knew how much hard work was involved in being a Drill Instructor. That is, until my husband voluntarily chose to become a DI, here on Parris Island. These DI's go through a grueling, 12 week training also known as drill instructor school. Afterwards, they are away from their families on an average of 120 hours a week! for 12 weeks at a time. No weekends off. No government holidays,...nothing. After their recruits graduate as Marines, the drill instructor may get on an average 1-2 weeks off, Before starting 12 weeks on the recruits, all over again. For the next three years! -There are no words to quite describe it. I've never seen harder working people. I'm very proud of them ALL! Especially 3rd BN Co I, and 2nd BN G CoI love my husband very much. And appreciate his ability to drop his work at the door, when he comes home. And how after a ridiculously exhausting day, he still gets down on his hands and knees and plays with our 2 year old daughter, Hannah. He's the best husband and father a family could ever ask for! Thank you Lord Jesus! And I thank my husband for standing firm in his faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. And guiding this family in the truth of the Lord. @qqrazy Don't do it. They'll have you wearing leg garters before you graduate. Sure, they'll call them some shit like "shirt stays", but deep down you'll know that you're wearing garters.

The Marines exercise team work, from the beginning to the end. Band of brothers and sisters know simply as the core. they rely on each other.. Once they're given an order, they carry out that order. There no time for a lot of talk. The Marines execute and they perform. They adapt achieve and over come. They get a plan and they execute. They live up to the legacy, Eagle, Globe, and anchor. The Marines is a way of life. They give it 110% all the time. Honor Courage and Commitment.Semper Fi!!
