That is, indeed, true.Sebastian is said to be a very big fan of the Crue so it's possible he could have been inspired through a conversation with one of them.You need to listen to all of Skid's songs before you can judge them because if you heard the Slave to the Grind and Subhuman Race albums, you'd know that Skid proved they were no less good than the Crue.I think STTG succeeded in being catchy and heavy moreso than Dr. Feelgood.Motley = 8/10Skid = 9/10Skid are more consistent.

Ok, pardon me if I'm wrong, but don't both groups have a song called Rattlesnake Shake also; I don't know if they are the same lyrics. I think both songs were recorded at around the same time, but did Skid Row do a cover of Motley Crue? I don't see Motley Crue doing any Skid Row covers. All I know is I love Motley Crue, and to me Skid Row is nothing special.
