@john42t The soviets were socialist from 1917 to the start of the civil war. I consider the Paris Commune, Anarchist Catalonia, Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Allende-ruled Chile, the Kubbtiz movement and the Zippo movement to be socialist.

@cary123 Exterminating the Jews doesn't help you win a war, but if you hate them and lose the war it's what's left to do. Marx was Jewish, many socialists are and were Jewish, leftist hollywood is very Jewish. The Jews are all sorts of adventurers, ideologues, entrepreneurs, artists and so on. That's why some of them end up as socialists and others as bankers. The Jewish paradox. As for the soviets not being socialist - yeah, if they aren't, who is? You? Your gang is different, right?

@oJKBo That was badly phrased. Most are either incapable of rational though or think it not worthwhile most of the time. What of those two modes is the more dominant problem is difficult to tell - in the end you only know yourself, if even that. As for the mother, whom did she vote for? Whose slogans did she parrot? What did she tell her child about "duty"?
