Not being racist, just being objective. I don't live in New Zealand, but to be honest when people speak of New Zealand, they think of the typical BRITISH Anglo Saxon kind of people. Not germanic groups included in that last statement. Most people in the world don't think about other ethical groups in your country. Take it easy.

How do you know the people you're talking about are Asian and not native Maori? The ancestors of the Maori originated in Asia, you know - They're part of the Austronesian language family, which originated in Taiwan. Polynesians often look similar to South East Asians. Also, Asia isn't that far from New Zealand - They both share the same side of the Pacific Ocean. There are Asian people all the way on the other side, in the USA and Canada, so why not in New Zealand, right around the corner?

are you being racist? you can tell that by watching this video? if you were talking about your personal experience after visiting the country, yes there are lots of Asian people from China, Korea, Japan etc. you should check the internet, the Chinese have been in the country since around 1865 and btw those pacific island countries are not full of black people but melanesian and polynesian,

Why is there a lot of asian people in new Zealand? That's really strange based on the geographical position of such country. I'd give you black people due to the number of small islands-country in the pacific but asians? Weird.
