for the priests, some are good, etc. but a lot of them, as I said, have been brainwashed by the same method they are brainwashing. they advocate and impose their ideals because they've been brainwashed the same. it's not their fault. they are just victims in the cruel design of the church institution that has created this thousands of years ago. church is good (the place), but church (the power) is corrupt. There's nothing wrong with religion, just the people who twist and corrupt it. ie frollo.

no no, i'm not saying their evil people, well at least the majority of them aren't. I'm saying they've been brainwashed by the institution who scared them into believing in god and people should believe in him with love and kindness, etc. there are some of those types (the jesus freaks) who are imposing and horrible and cruel, but the majority are good people. still, i'm saying that frollo represents the hypocrisy of religion and it's power, not the people.
