Imagine if they had enemies with white/black textures corresponding to which "zone" the player is currently in; white enemies for white "zone" etc.Then these enemies would not be hit by the balls, but would cast shadows on the painted areas; a white monster would cast a white shadow which could only be seen if the played sprayed black paint on a white wall...I would piss my pants...
