I used to watch this show when it first aired. Only 8 episodes but it was great. The guy slept in a box! Tivo it because they re-run it every so often.

yea, all true, but i think it was starting to pick up sort of a cult following just as they cancelled it, but i could be wrong. sometimes other decent shows like the simpsons can get by even right-wing nuts :)

it was too controversial. not to mention that they are puppets of the extreme right-wing nuts. also, profit wasn't making enough profit.

in the first episode, jim looked downright evil especially since it was two hours of him manipulating, bribing, blackmailing, and murdering people like richard iii. as the show progressed, there were so many shady characters in g&g, jim just started looking like a slicker, better version of them. enron, worldcom, and bernie madoff may make headlines but profit never will.
