22mmarchand is my competition! Hopefully he knows how to hold a carpet knife better than he can spell! Putting speed above quality is often the goal of the uneducated hacks out there!

The adhesive is the glue sticks that come with the Pam Glue Gun.

What's the name of the adhesive used?

I can see you're point. That method would work well. Personally I don't mind the carpet being slightly higher than the tile. It prevents the stubbed toes and I think it looks good. Thanks for your comment. Steve

its the hieght difference that worries me,carpet would wear more where the gripper is.I wouldnt put gripper down infront of the tiles.id probly use really good spray glue, completely spray the underlay infont of the tiles, really work the underlay into the glue which would slightly reduce the hieght cut the underlay an inch back from tiles ,glue spray and turn carpet inch over then glue carpet straight down.

What would you suggest?

everythink you done was great, but I just didnt like the finish. The carpet ended up higher than the tiles.I would choice a different option |
