hey guys i want to know if you have any tips on making my parents feel better about me joining....i want to join the marines next year when i graduate. i told my parents and they are not happy about it. i tryed asking on yahoo answers but everyone was a smart ass and said marines are stupid cuz they piss on dead people. so please guys if you have any ideas or want to share your experiance with me i would appreciate it. i know the choice is mine but i dont want to disrespect my parents. Thanks

Dam bootcamp looks like it's goin to be insane I'm excited as hell but nervous as a mother bleeper haha I'm suppose to leave feb 14th 2012 is there any good pointers I should have

@bbrain2 I think SERE and Pararescue has some crazy PT. I got a book with the workouts but only the airforce does every exercise till you have nothing left. no reps in there workouts.

Hell no you get one phone call when you first arrive to let someone in ur family know that you are there. You read it off of a piece of paper if you say anything that's not on the paper they hang up the phone. It's not like any other bootcamp in the US.

Hell no, you don't get any calls except when u first arrive and its a 10 second call that you read off a paper if you try to say something that's not on the paper they hang up the phone. No other boot camp in the US is like it.

@S2theMiL3 Stay motivated. The summer fucking sucks cause of the heat casualties and sand fleas. But mini all that stay outta trouble try to get some good people to join up as well. If you got any questions feel free to ask |
