http://www.ted.com With help from some surprising footage, Derek Sivers explains how movements really get started. (Hint: it takes two.)TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Featured speakers have included Al Gore on climate change, Philippe Starck on design, Jill Bolte Taylor on observing her own stroke, Nicholas Negroponte on One Laptop per Child, Jane Goodall on chimpanzees, Bill Gates on malaria and mosquitoes, Pattie Maes on the "Sixth Sense" wearable tech, and "Lost" producer JJ Abrams on the allure of mystery. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts. Closed captions and translated subtitles in a variety of languages are now available on TED.com, at http://www.ted.com/translate. I loved seeing Derek Sivers on Ted talks--true and hilarious!I would like to point individuals inspired to start a movement to our new documentary: "American Bear: An Adventure in the Kindness of Strangers," where two filmmakers travel the US for 60 days relying on strangers for shelter. Each person took personal initiative and was a leader! Check out the trailer by searching youtube "American Bear Trailer." Let's start a social networking trend, thanks everyone!

HATE that TED talks can be sponsored by an Oil promo... nearly a third of this video has nothing to do with TED.
