Damn, that's very similar to what happened to me yesterday! had a young doctor try 4 times before going to get another inexperienced who took a couple goes to finally get it right. Hope my back doesn't give me problems in the future from this. I have enough spinal problems as it is!Hope you get well soon

just had this done yesterday! 6 attempts and 2 doctors later and i can tell you, when they hit a nerve, the shooting pains are incredible! Nurse told me when it was done that the doctors did a terrible job.Never again!

I had this done three times because of my reoccurring meningitis, once for each time. I tell you now, it is the worst pain I have ever and probably will ever go through. I was literally screaming like I was going to die. I don't remember how it felt after, but I won't forget my ordeal ever. I think I was about 5 when I had it done and I'm 21 now.

I had an LP done when I was admitted to the ER following a incident. After I was discharged I had to go back because I had a post-LP headache. So they did a blood patch and good lord I felt they where trying to kill me I had to gag myself with the patient outfit just to endure the pain. I will not soon forget this experience
