The trumpet solo was player by Phil Guilbeau! This was from a London Concert recorded Monday Sep 15, 1965. Henderson Chambers took the Trombone solo and Rufus Jones is the drummer

Nobody and I mean NOBODY could swing as hard as the Count Basie Band. This is the REAL DEAL. This arrangement brings tears to my eyes. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BTY, check out jerry Lewis movies. He used the Count Basie band a lot.

Hard to see the video but recognize Jaws and Marshall and looks like Bill Hughes. I love and always dug hard Basie and his wonderful band. A powerful machine and if you stood in front of he band, the music pierced you through and through your body and soul. I am privileged to have heard and known the band for many years before Count Basie died.
