When they announced that he was to be the new host, it surprised me. I was utterly convinced they were going to pick Emma Willis, as she's got a bit of the Davina about her.But with hindsight, it was a good call. If they'd tried to clone Davina it would have made the show look like a poorer version of the C4 original.Brian has had a mixed reception so far, but I think he's really good. His interviews are better and he doesn't fluff his lines as much. Maybe needs to loosen up just a tad though.

Well Done Brian. I'm so pleased for you that you are the new presenter. No one can follow Davina's act, but I know for sure that Brian will do a fantastic job of Big Brother.

I followed Big Brother in 2001 when Brian Dowling was a housemate and it was Davina McCall choice to leave the show and nothing last forever, Brian Dowling is a brilliant tv presenter and he will do great job in presenting Big Brother..
