@ArmoricanBoy I live in Naples, Fl. A place with no heritage or sensitivity. New Orleans is my soul home and it's my reality since the 50's. Your so right about talking to the people this is so important. There are a lot of people hurting badly. If it's no more then lending a shoulder to cry on.....Being a good LISTENER. I think the most insulting thing is the way these people drive through the wreckage with their cameras and fear in their eyes. Get out and walk, if you are gonna rubberneck, talk to the people about whats been happening. Fucking white picket fence americans. @JDHallow what kind of a human being are you, these people who lost their homes, DID have hurricane ensurance, but didnt get SHIT.. Imagine losing your HOME, and EVERYTHING u have ever worked for, nobody deserves that, NOBODY!

@Ringnes85 I don't want to be "just a tourist", I've felt like New Orleans is "home" to me ever since I visited, which is a long time ago now, back in 1996.. I also feel for everybody who has gone through so much, and yet, ur still hanging on because u love Louisiana.. I love New Orleans, i've only been there twice, to visit my cousins, uncle and aunt in Mandeville.. As i live in Norway, which is like a 10 hour flight or something over the atlantic ocean, I'm hoping that I can go back there somewhere soon in the future, and see all the good things, and also the bad things.. As one person I know i cant do much, but if I could do something, I would definitely do it.. My dream is to move there for the rest of my life, and be a part of the city's heart & soul..!
