So what if there were 2 people watching as the electrons were being shot through the slits? 1 watching from one point of view and one watching the other pov

Not only does an electron not 'think and know' it's being observed, it doesn't exist at all until it has been observed. The prior state is potential, which is collapsed by the act of observation - that's what makes this experiment so utterly, stunningly incredible. The scientific community is still reeling from this discovery,

As right as you "might" be,and despite the fact that most people (including me) would agree with you, the truth of the matter is that there is no way to prove it. In fact there is more evidence to suggest that it really DOES know when it is being watched, whereas it is good old fashioned common sense that tells us"an electron can't think or be aware of things" The fact that, to date, so many variations of detection method have yielded the same result should make even the biggest skeptics wonder

Physicists: "The Hell is going on...?" *They Observe*Electron: "Dododoooo----*looks at Physicist* Ha. Fuck you.. *Acts like particle.*

Yes, but the electron still doesn't actually think and know that it is being watched

This experiment simply states that matter acts as we would expect it to act as long as we are observing it. An example of this is the utensil drawer in your kitchen. When the drawer is closed, the utensils could disappear or transform into a different shape or state of matter until we open the drawer and expect to see utensils.

its an interesting video, i dont think it is deserving of a dumbass "how did i get here" comment

if electrons had a form of awareness, as it could be argued by some that plants may have a kind of awareness or consciousness undetectable by us, but , lets say electrons had a consciousness, this would in no way make "god" more believable or unbelievable to me.

how does a plant know how to replicate scents to attract insects for pollination? when it comes to all forms of nature, there is nothing but mystery. |
