It looks like Winnipeg has developed backwards since then. Today there is no more street life downtown, Canadians used to drive nicer cars, it's hard to tell on the film, but everything seemed well kept. Downtown Winnipeg today is full of natives, drugs and rundown buildings. Also, a lot of gorgeous buildings were demolished and replaced by some of the most ugly piles of concrete I have seen in my entire life. Such a shame.
