Thank you for posting these audio recordings! I just picked up a copy of "Awareness" and find his ideas to be very thought-provoking and logical, but it is easier to share a video/audio than a book. =)

krhm... gold is power and strive for power is basic instinct.. same category with selfishness. And where you need money ? To live. And that rest is just bs... as a child we need that sort of acceptance. After all we are in dependence relationship with our parents or foster parents, we can't grow alone. If we don't get that feel of acceptance as a child we won't grow to be stable adults. About the Mello, i think that most of his stuff is total crap but he has few good ideas.

To hell with those gold mines in Alaska. What are you going to do with that gold? If you're not happy, you can't live. So you found gold. What does that matter? You're a king; you're a princess. You're free; you don't care anymore about being accepted or rejected, that makes no difference. Psychologists tell us how important it is to get a sense of belonging. Baloney! Why do you want to belong to anybody? It doesn't matter anymore.

You want awakening? We are the only animals on this planet that have awareness. We know that we exist. But with awareness comes one dredful truth. We are aware that some day we must face death. No other animal knows this. But because we fear death, religion was created. God did not create man, man created god and a heaven, another place to go. But the truth is, you have but one life to live and this is it. Knowing this should make you want to live your life to the fullest! Don't waste it!
